Summary
Are you a hands-on individual with a background in timber work and strong craft skills? Our client, a leading manufacturer in their sector, is currently seeking a skilled Assembly Operative to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly of timber-based products using hand tools
•
Working to technical drawings and specifications
•
Operating tools such as routers, notchers, drills, and chisels
•
Maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality
•
Supporting team productivity and meeting daily targets
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience working with timber
•
Confident in using hand tools and power tools
•
Excellent attention to detail and strong craft skills
•
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Shift Details:
Training will be on the morning shift working 07:00-15:30 Monday to Friday. £12.21 per hour (roughly x2 weeks)
•
13:30 – 22:00 Monday to Thursday, and 11:30 – 20:00 on Fridays £14.65 per hour
