About the Team:
The team provides supports for a number of business applications across the council, those include areas such as Customer Services, Council Tax and Housing Benefits, Planning, Building Control, Licensing and Libraries.
About the Role:
As a Senior Applications Analyst, you will be responsible for the completion of tasks, that are complex due to the level of knowledge required and business criticality, including development, maintenance and system configuration activities for allocated Revenue, Benefits and Customer Services applications whilst maintaining security of operation and management of risk. This includes any associated application upgrades and interfaces to applications within other business areas and assisting with management reporting requirements to ensure secure, efficient operation of business activities.

Where applications and systems are delivered as a service, to support liaison with the Service Providers to ensure applications maintain currency and security and effectively meet the business requirements of the Council.
Successful candidate must have:
- Proven knowledge and experience of managing a wide variety of applications
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively
- A clear understanding and capability to work within relevant IT related standards
- Excellent track record of working within teams to meet complex business requirements
