Summary
Chef with Heart
28 hours a week
£14.06 an hour annual salary £20,471.36
We will also consider a 14 hour a week Job Share or an Apprentice Chef (apprentice rate of pay will apply)
At St Mary’s Hospice, food is more than food. It’s comfort, care, and sometimes the highlight of someone’s day. From a favourite pudding to a simple cuppa, your meals will bring dignity, love, and comfort to patients, families and visitors.
Your day might include:
Cooking specials, soups, quiches, pies, and scrummy cakes.
Preparing tailored meals for patients’ likes and needs.
Running a lively lunch service (40–90 covers) with the team.
Helping with afternoon teas, the salad bar… and if needed, even washing up!
