Summary
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Handyman to support the smooth running of our site. This is a varied role, covering daily cleaning, upkeep of facilities, and general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-presented environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Daily cleaning of offices, kitchen, canteen, toilets, and communal areas.
Ensuring the factory floor is kept clean and maintained to a high standard.
Emptying waste bins and food bins in line with company policy and waste segregation procedures.
Carrying out general DIY and maintenance tasks around the site.
Seasonal outdoor duties such as cutting back perimeter foliage and maintaining external areas.
Painting and upkeep of handrails, guards, and other fixtures as required.
Reporting any hazards, faults, or required repairs promptly to management.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in cleaning, facilities, or maintenance roles desirable but not essential.
Practical DIY skills (painting, minor repairs, general upkeep).
Ability to follow health & safety and waste management procedures.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
