Key responsibilities
• Use of Streetlifter (HIAB) vehicle to load vehicles from a roadside location throughout the wider Merseyside area, dealing with any enquiries from the public, should they arise, in an informed manner. Full training will be provided in the use of the equipment and the prevailing legislation regarding the seizure/ enforcement.
• Ensuring a substantial number of images are taken of the identified vehicle prior to collection as well as confirmation with appropriate agencies that vehicle meets all the criteria for seizure/ enforcement.
• Working with a permanent assistant (second man) to ensure that all provided notifications are visited promptly.
• Wearing of provided PPE and use of provided Body Cam.
• Safely operate a Class 2 (LGV) vehicle in line with driving regulations and company policies.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
• Follow all health and safety procedures, both on the road and on-site
• Communicate professionally with public, site staff, and transport managers
• Ensure all paperwork (delivery notes, logbooks, etc.) is completed correctly
• Comply with drivers’ hours, working time regulations, and tachograph laws
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable always.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Skills required



• Tachograph Knowledge – ability to operate digital tachographs and follow driver hours regulations
• Safe and Responsible Driving – strong focus on road safety and vehicle control
• Good Time Management – able to plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Basic Vehicle Knowledge – able to carry out vehicle checks and identify basic mechanical issues
• Manual Handling Skills – able to load and unload safely when required
• Strong Communication Skills – polite and clear when speaking with customers and colleagues
• Attention to Detail – accurate record-keeping and paperwork completion
• Problem-Solving Ability – able to manage delays, route changes, or delivery issues calmly and efficiently

Class ‘C’ Driving Entitlement
Driver CPC Qualification – up-to-date CPC card is essential

• Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 Days).
• Shift Pattern: 08:00 to 17:00
• £14 per hour plus Structured Bonus Scheme
