About the Role
We are recruiting two experienced Qualified Social Workers to join the Front Door Team in Knowsley. This is a full-time hybrid role, working 36 hours per week. The role requires strong frontline skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a sound understanding of statutory duties and safeguarding responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Undertake Social Care Needs Assessments and Mental Capacity Assessments
• Manage safeguarding enquiries and contribute to DST/CHC processes
• Deliver accurate and timely case recording
• Appropriately “right-size” support and signpost to relevant services
• Evidence, manage, and escalate risks as required
• Contribute to duty function within a high-pressure team environment
Requirements
• Qualified Social Worker with registration (Social Work England)
• Substantial post-qualification experience, ideally in duty or frontline services
• Strong assessment, recording, and risk management skills
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency setting
• Car driver essential
