Summary
Job Summary –
We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and systems that support our analytics and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL, IBM DataStage, and Snowflake, and a strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and cloud data warehousing.
Technical Skills:
• Experience in data engineering or ETL development.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with IBM DataStage for ETL development.
• Experience working with Snowflake cloud data platform.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD practices
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage to ingest and transform data from various sources.
• Write and optimize PL/SQL scripts, procedures, and packages for data manipulation and integration in Oracle databases.
• Build and manage data pipelines and workflows in Snowflake, ensuring efficient data movement and transformation.
• Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and failures.
• Document data flows, processes, and technical specifications
