Summary
Obtaining consent for the collection of blood samples Performing venepuncture in accordance with practice protocols Maintain accurate records in EMIS Urine dipstick testing (training done in house) Updating patients Blood Pressure, Height & Weight as required Correct labelling, packaging & storing of samples Ensuring samples are sent to the lab in a timely manor Liasing with the lab for any addition tests required Ensuring any patient follow up is arranged as per practice protocols. Working with the nursing team and seeking guidance when neccesary for patient related matters.
