Summary


1 Roles Available - These roles are hybrid, however on the days that you will be working in the office, these will be across London Road, Bracknell & Erlegh House, Reading - 37.5 hours per week.

Following overwhelming demand and success for employment support offered in Talking Therapies, and our successful expansion provision, we are currently looking to recruit additional Employment Advisors to join us as we continue to develop our service.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team and contribute to the innovative work taking place in Talking Therapies.

You will be working in a motivated, supportive environment, helping people experiencing low mood and/or anxiety with practical employment related matters.

We have vacancies supporting clients across Berkshire. Flexibility is essential for this role, with a combination of working remotely, from a base and travelling across our service as and when required.

We welcome applicants who speak additional languages fluently.

You will:

• Hold a caseload of clients

• Support clients to find work, stay in work, or return to work after sick leave

• Offer support via telephone, video calls (Teams), emails, and face-to-face as needed

• Offer varied and tailored support to individuals, using tools and resources to empower clients to resolve practical employment issues

• Be involved in service delivery improvements to support clients’ aspirations and employment goals


There will be a requirement to undertake a short formal study programme.

FOR SECONDMENT ROLES ONLY - If the secondment role becomes permanent, the successful candidate may be offered the permanent position.

The “must haves” for you to be considered for this role: 
• Experience in mental health and/or vocational/employment advice
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Able to prioritise and plan own caseload
• An empathetic and compassionate approach when working with people with low mood and/or anxiety
