Summary
The Beehive is an award winning community venue in Honiton with a programme of live events, cinema and space for community activities, performing arts, visual art exhibitions, workshops, meetings and conferences. The venue is run by a charity (Honiton Community Complex) and is used by community organisations and special interest groups.
We are recruiting for a Fundraising Manager to identify and maximise opportunities to raise funds from grant-making bodies and charitable trusts. To develop and implement a fundraising strategy, research and apply for grants in line with the strategy. The post holder will ensure that all grant applications are monitored and administered correctly. The post holder should have:
Experience in national fundraising, bid writing and sponsorship development.
Understanding of arts funding and charity sector regulations.
Understanding of fund raising principles and practice.
Confident and persuasive communicator with good attention to detail.
Ability to manage a varied and complex workload prioritising competing demands.
Competent in IT tools including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
