Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join our growing team in Bradford. Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
· Managing a small caseload under supervision (as a paralegal)
· Helping fee earners with administrative duties ( opening files on case management system and issuing the initial client care pack )
· Managing diaries (as Secretary)
· Handling client calls, both for updates and to take initial instruction
· Helping with any ad-hoc duties
Due to the role being part of a busy department, the firm are keen to have a candidate with prior conveyancing experience join the team. The Ideal candidate will have:
· Over 1 year of conveyancing experience
· Experience liaising with clients directly
· Strong attention to detail
· A can-do attitude


Secondly
• Assist fee earners in managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Draft legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
• Conduct searches
• Prepare and submit SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records.
• Respond to client enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a conveyancing role, ideally within a law firm or legal department.
• Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A law degree or legal qualification (such as LPC or CILEx) is desirable but not essential.
