Summary
A lovely family based in Lewes, East Sussex, is seeking an After-School Nanny to care for their school-aged child and a new baby due in August 2025. The ideal nanny will be calm and patient, yet energetic enough to keep up with the children, and able to take on light housekeeping tasks related to them. The role will also include cooking and preparing healthy meals for the family. As there is a cat in the household, being pet-friendly is important. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: 2 to 3 days per week throughout Monday to Thursday, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 12 hours per week
Duties include:
Collecting children from nursery or school and escorting them home
Organising fun and stimulating age-appropriate activities
Arranging playdates and social activities
Preparing snacks and evening meals for the children
Ensuring the children’s happiness, safety, and well-being at all times
Assisting with bath time and bedtime routines
Supporting with laundry and maintaining tidiness after the children
The family is seeking someone who can start in mid-October 2025, and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
