About the role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a key part in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. You'll work both one-to-one and with small groups, following tailored learning plans, adapting activities, and providing emotional encouragement to ensure every child feels supported and valued.
You'll work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and other support staff to create a positive and safe learning environment. This role requires patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations in the classroom.
