The Best Connection Darlington is currently recruiting 4 experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers for a fantastic 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity with one of our trusted clients.
This role offers a great work-life balance with Monday to Friday work, guaranteed hours, and no weekends. If you're looking for long-term stability, excellent pay, and a supportive traffic office team, we want to hear from you.
Pay & Hours-
£15.14 per hour while temping (first 12 weeks)

Permanent salary after 12 weeks: £41,158.00 per annum

Guaranteed 50 hours per week once permanent

45 minutes break deducted daily

Overtime paid at 1.5x after 50 hours

£25 per night out
-
Flexibility required for occasional nights out (not every night)

Monday to Friday - no weekend work

20 days holiday + 8 statutory bank holidays

Christmas period off (T&Cs apply - annual leave may be used)

Brand new fleet due within 6-9 months

DCPC training fully funded

Friendly, professional traffic office team

Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
