Summary

Job Title: General Foreman
Location: Norwich - Junction Works (A47 Thickthorn Area)
Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday | 10-hour shifts
Start Date: Starting Mid September
Pay: £29.93 PAYE Direct Rate. Overtime (over 10 hours) paid at 1.33x. Weekends at 1.5x.

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive General Foreman to join our team on a long-term civil engineering project in Norwich. The role will involve supervising site activities, coordinating trades and subcontractors, ensuring health & safety compliance, and supporting the Site Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of a major infrastructure scheme. You will be working on a highways project, on Piling and infrastructure works including two new slip roads.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations and manage on-site workforce
* Liaise with Site Manager and engineers to ensure work is delivered to spec and on time
* Maintain site safety and ensure adherence to RAMS
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors and labour teams
* Maintain accurate site records and daily diaries
* Conduct site inductions and tool box talks as required

Requirements:
* Valid CSCS Card - Gold or Black (Essential)
* SSSTS or SMSTS (Essential)
* Strong background in civils and infrastructure projects
* Proven leadership skills and experience supervising site teams
* Ability to read drawings and communicate clearly with the team
* Full PPE
