The Best Connection is now recruiting a Cat C HIAB Driver on an ADHOC basis to support our client during peak periods throughout the summer in the Horsham area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking to boost their summer income with flexible, ongoing work in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector.
Shift Details:
- Start Time: 06:30 AM
- Finish Time: Approx. 15:30 PM
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Duration: Summer period (with potential for further work beyond)
Job Overview:
- Deliver building materials to sites & stores using a Cat C HIAB vehicle.
- You'll work independently, with some assistance on sites.
- Routes will cover various UK locations starting from Horsham.
Main Responsibilities of the Cat C HIAB Driver:
- Conduct daily vehicle checks (pre- and post-operation) ensuring safety and compliance.
- Follow a set delivery schedule, liaising with dispatch for efficient routing.
- Ensure all deliveries are made professionally and safely, adhering to company and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Valid Category C Licence
- CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- HIAB Hook ALLMI qualification
- A positive attitude and willingness to work flexibly over the summer
