Summary
Extruder Operative Role Winsford
Be part of a team producing specialist tapes used across industrial sectors. This hands-on role supports the extrusion and packaging of precision engineered materials in a fast-paced quality driven environment.
As an Extruder Operative you will be working in a Monday to Thursday manufacturing environment, working on extrusion lines to produce tapes, ensuring material is processed, shaped, and packaged according to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate extrusion machinery to meet customer specifications.
- Perform order and blend changes as needed.
- Conduct and record quality checks, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene on the production line.
Work safely in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing or production line work
- Good numeracy and literacy.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Shift Pattern & Benefits
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday - 06.30am until 17.30pm - 42 hours
Starting Salary: £12.60 an hour. (potential earnings up to 32k)
Temporary to permanent role.
