Summary
This is a Fixed Term position until June 2026 working 7 hours per week.
Swansea University currently offers 8 full-time & 3 part-time degree programmes in Healthcare Science. Healthcare Science sits within the School of Health and Social Care. Nearly all of the commissioned programmes from Welsh Government sit within this School. Healthcare Science is joined by Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Health and Paramedic Science in the School. This creates a culture of professional training and interdisciplinary education.
The successful candidate will join the Healthcare Science department. The Lecturer in Rehabilitation Engineering will be responsible for teaching core Rehabilitation Engineering principles to prepare students for NHS hospital placements. They will undertake administrative duties, such as module management, marking, timetabling and admissions. Further, there will be an expectation to undertake personal tutoring for students studying Rehabilitation Engineering.
