The Opportunity
We’re seeking a dedicated and ambitious Trainee Manager to join a welcoming 3-bedded residential home for children and young people. The home supports those who may have Learning Disabilities, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), and may have experienced trauma.
Situated in the heart of Chippenham, the home offers easy access to local amenities while still providing a peaceful garden space with decking and seating — a safe and relaxing environment for both staff and residents.

Your Role
Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will:
Support with the day-to-day running of the home
Lead, mentor, and inspire the care team
Contribute to care planning and safeguarding processes
Maintain high standards in line with Ofsted regulations
Build trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals
About You
Senior Support Worker or Team Leader experience in a residential children’s setting
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
Desire to progress into a Registered Manager role
Strong understanding of safeguarding principles

This role is subject to enhanced DBS checks and falls under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exemptions Order). All convictions and cautions must be declared unless protected under DBS filtering rules.
