We are seeking an experienced Deputy Children's Home Manager to join an established therapeutic 2 bedded children's home in the Walsall area.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team for at least 2 years with knowledge to efficiently co-managing the house budgets, overseeing the development of staff and the young people in placement, formulating and updating placement plans, risk assessments and positive therapeutic parenting. It would be an advantage to the candidate if they have the knowledge or experience of supporting young people with EBD and who may have experienced very traumatic experiences. They will have achieved a level 3 children's residential/children's workforce or level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Residential or a higher qualification in relation to the role. It is essential to have a full UK driving licence.
Starting salary is £38,712.18 and an overtime rate is paid after the contractual 201.5 monthly hours are completed.
