Workshop Controller – Monday to Friday Only
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 basic + bonus scheme
Hours: 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday (no weekends!)
Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for keeping a busy workshop running like clockwork?
We’re on the hunt for an experienced Workshop Controller to oversee a team of 6–7 talented technicians, making sure every job is completed to the highest standard — on time, every time.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing daily workshop operations and allocating jobs efficiently
Using the Techman system to book work and keep everything flowing
Ordering parts as needed to keep jobs moving smoothly
Driving productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction
Supporting and mentoring the team, using your own technical knowledge to solve problems quickly
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience as a Workshop Controller in the motor trade
A strong technical/automotive background
Confident with digital systems (all our processes are fully digitised)
Organised, proactive, and a natural communicator
