Summary
Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a role where safety, teamwork, and efficiency are valued? We’re looking for a reliable and skilled individual to help us keep our operations running smoothly — moving goods quickly, safely, and to the highest standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load, move, and store goods.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records, including forklift check sheets, loading plans, and reject forms.
• Carry out basic forklift maintenance — keeping it clean, fuelled, and in top working condition.
• Make sure pallets, trays, and bins are stacked neatly, securely, and in the right place.
• Work with care to avoid damage to goods, equipment, or the workplace.
• Report any issues or incidents straight away.
• Keep your work area clean, tidy, and safe.
• Support your team with additional duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
• A valid Counterbalance B1 Forklift licence (essential).
• Safe mounting/dismounting practices and awareness of your surroundings.
• Good balance and coordination — hand, eye, and foot.
• The ability to judge weights, heights, and distances accurately.
• Flexibility to work in different temperatures depending on the season.
