Summary
Implement the Modern Matrons Charter Work collaboratively with Matron Manager, Service Leads and Professional Leads to ensure services are planned, developed, implemented and monitored against national and local policies and to develop project plans to ensure service improvement To be able to confidently lead, manage and support service change based on developments within pathways & specific services Be fully appraised of relevant performance indicators (including a thorough understanding of their construction) and how information and clinical systems operate to achieve the targets Oversight and awareness of specific requirements for reporting/governance as requested by the ICB and NHSE Establish and maintain effective systems and processes that enable achievement of key performance indicators relevant to the service Ensure the service is managed within a designated budget and take appropriate action to maintain financial balance
