We are seeking a Content Manager to join our Marketing team.
As a Content Manager, you will drive Converge’s brand identity and online presence through the creation of sharing of multimedia content. The successful candidate will be responsible for Converge’s content strategy across all group brands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborates across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives.
• This role requires a brand publisher mindset: the create the content our audience is looking for.
• Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone.
• Managing production of multimedia content.
• Management of online and offline content and all supporting social channels including web / email / newsletter distribution / case studies / awards / blogs and thought leadership pieces.
• Understand the best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why.
• Integration of content programs with brand campaigns to drive brand to demand.
• Executive presentations on the program approaches and results will be required.
• Help drive SEO, Google search rankings, and organic web traffic, by building backlinks to the Converge website through active engagement with key vendors.
• Help drive our SEO and social-driven traffic by actively engaging with key content sharers and influencer.
• Identify best ROI opportunities for paid social media tactics and optimise campaign spend to maximise ROI
• Track and report on Content KPIs
Measures of Performance:
• Social Media engagement rates (comments, interactions, likes, shares)
• Social media growth (followers, subscribers)
• Web traffic/Downloads of specific content/Time on page
Person Specification:
• Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, English or related field.
• Essential Experience/Skills: Ability to develop content which provokes engagement, experience with online community building and experience in Content/Copywriting role
• Desired Experience/Skills: Working within a ‘Technical’ industry, proficient with popular content management systems, keyword placement and SEO best practices, Google Analytics and Social Media Analytics.

This is a full time position - 37 hours per week - This is a hybrid role
