Summary
Thorn Baker are looking for a reliable and flexible Van Driver to join our clients team in Huthwaite. This is an ad hoc position, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is happy to work when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Driving a company van to deliver goods to various locations.
•
Safely loading and unloading items.
•
Using ratchet straps to secure loads effectively in line with safety standards.
•
Completing paperwork and delivery notes accurately.
•
Maintaining the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
•
Communicating professionally with clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
•
Valid UK driving licence (B category).
•
Previous van driving experience is essential.
•
Proven experience using ratchet straps.
•
Ability to work flexibly on an ad hoc basis - shifts will vary depending on operational needs.
•
Good level of physical fitness (some manual handling required).
•
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
