Summary

Youth Work Development Manager
Location: Walthamstow or Hayes (with hybrid working available)
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday, plus occasional evenings and weekends)

Our Client is seeking a passionate and experienced Youth Work Development Manager to lead, grow, and inspire our services for young people aged 11-25, with a strong focus on supporting those who face disadvantage.

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Oversee and develop all youth services, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable impact.

  • Lead a dedicated team of Youth Programmes Officers and volunteers, providing strong leadership, coaching, and support.

  • Manage budgets and performance records, ensuring sustainability and seeking new funding opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, data protection, and health and safety requirements.

  • Drive the development of innovative services to meet evolving needs in the community.

About you:
You will bring:

  • A minimum Level 3 Qualification in Youth Work (or related studies).

  • At least 2 years' experience managing youth services across multiple sites with a budget over £100,000.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, build partnerships, and deliver impactful projects.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and empowering young people.

  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, and travel across our sites.
