Are you an enthusiastic, fun and inspiring ECT / NQT?
How would you like to work with Mini Code Breakers – the UK's only coding club offering exclusively in-person classes for children?
We're looking for engaging and inspiring individuals to work as Leaders and join our coding team, delivered at venues across Merseyside, England.
Your primary role will be to PREPARE, DELIVER & REVIEW the progress our students achieve through various coding sessions, projects, animations and so on, providing quality, fun and engaging coding sessions for 6–12 year-olds. We encourage enthusiasm to help empower every child with the opportunity to learn the language of the future, solving complex problems and being creative.
As part of your role, you'll be responsible for teaching students key coding concepts through various coding tasks and activities in and out of the digital world, using technology to support and engage our future innovators, as well as working as part of a team to deliver high quality sessions from our bespoke curriculum and providing a fantastic learning experience. This will include staff training, student engagement, technical support and classroom management to share best practice as well as learning from each other.
This role is for weekday evening hours. We operate sessions from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM weekdays.

Job Description:
Be organised and arrive in plenty of time to set up sessions
Teach and deliver fun, engaging and inspiring coding lessons, ranging from 6-12 years of age, to no more than 12 students in a session (all sessions will be planned for you and there will be no marking!).
Deliver exceptional customer care to every student and family member
Ensuring child safety
Maintaining classroom management
Utilise junior assistants (6th form student) and be responsible for their involvement during delivery of sessions
Welfare of hardware - care for our equipment, before, during and after lessons.
Be responsible for all equipment.
Person Specification
Willing to work towards Teacher Coding Qualifications / Certifications - Fully funded training and qualifications provided.
Energetic, passionate, fun and hard working.
Ambition for changing children's lives and making a difference
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Interaction with others, demonstrates a determined and committed approach to the quality of sessions delivered.
Perseverance and patience to encourage all students to succeed.
Able to identify students who may need additional support in sessions.

Hours & Location:
The hours of work will typically be 5-8pm Monday to Friday during term time, with extra hours available during holiday periods as well as opportunity for daytime and weekend hours.
