Location: Salford
Hours: Waking Nights & Day Shifts 8pm – 7.30am
Salary: £12.60ph - £12.85ph

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Salford, providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with a variety of needs.
About the Role
You will be supporting children in a safe, nurturing environment, helping them to feel valued, understood, and empowered. This role involves working a mix of waking night and day shifts to ensure children receive the care and stability they need around the clock.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emotional and practical support to children with mental health needs and other challenges
Create a safe, supportive environment that promotes independence and emotional wellbeing
Follow individual care plans and risk assessments
Build positive, trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and other professionals
Record and report accurately to ensure the highest standard of care is maintained
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people (desirable)
Understanding of mental health conditions and the impact on daily life
Resilience, empathy, and strong communication skills
Ability to work waking nights and day shifts as part of a rota
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
