We are seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client, a world leading FMCG manufacturing company with multiple sites across the UK.
As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will bring your practical and knowledgeable experience in maintenance engineering to this permanent position based in Chelmsford.

About the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Position
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for executing both planned and unplanned maintenance activities, ensuring all site assets are maintained to a high standard and meet site requirements.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Carrying out breakdown repair across a range of production equipment including mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on improving reliability and maximising production output.
• Use SAP to capture all maintenance activities (training provided).
• Provide functional support and expertise to attain engineering standards across the site.
About You – Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
• The ideal candidate will be practical and knowledgeable in maintenance engineering, with the ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Must possess PLC programming experience and proven training record (S5, S7 and AB)
• You will be target-driven, willing to learn, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork, inquisitiveness, analytical thinking, adaptability, and flexibility are essential traits for this role.
