Summary
The Senior Care Assistant is part of the Care Home’s Senior Management team. They are required to professionally lead the care team during each shift, ensuring that a high standard of person-centred care is provided to the residents of the Care Home in accordance with their assessed needs.
They will ensure that a safe, effective and efficient care service is provided, which enhances the life of everyone.
The Senior Care Assistant will supervise and support the care team to create a warm, comfortable, friendly, homely environment for residents, and in accordance with the Care Quality Commission standards, the safeguarding policy.
Do you have the following experience.
• Supervising in a Care Home environment (x1 years’ experience)
• Level 3 NVQ Health and Social Care
In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder of this role to be female, as the role requires the personal care of residents who are all female.
Hours: Minimum of 22.5 hours per week (contract is for x2 days per week/ 11.25 hours per shift). Overtime is available when needed by the home.
