Are you a passionate and innovative GP looking for a role working with a student population? We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable GP who is passionate about patient care. The ideal candidate will have:
● A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
● An interest in student health.
● Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
● A proactive and forward-thinking approach to general practice.
As a GP at UHS you will delivery Primary Care Services to our patients, conducting routine and urgent appointments, face-to-face, online and via telephone, ensuring high-quality care.
Working with young adults is a rewarding and fascinating experience, with the opportunity to develop new knowledge & skills in managing complex mental health, eating disorders, gender dysphoria, complex contraception presentations and sexual health. If you are interested in making a difference to young people and would like to help our patients manage their health and wellbeing to allow them to succeed academically and beyond, then we have the ideal post for you.
There is dedicated time for administrative tasks and no home visits. We offer in-house training, funding for PDP, and opportunities to develop in new areas.
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a great clinical team to provide excellent patient care to young people. We would love to show you round the practice and introduce you to the unique & rewarding world of student health. We are based in a large modern building near Sheffield Student Union. We are part of the university and therefore benefit from TUoS terms and conditions.
