I'm seeking a skilled and proactive Production Planner to become an integral part of a well-established, close-knit team. In this role, you'll work closely with internal departments and customers to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently. As a family-owned manufacturer, they pride themsleves on a strong team spirit, commitment to quality, and dedication to hard work. Role & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing end to end production from order receipt, through to production and shipment
- Directly responsible for the Planning Assistant
- Input and process customer orders (checking against quotes and maintaining accuracy in their system)
- Generate job packs according to the production plan, ensuring correct materials and tools are available - Raise purchase orders for required materials and parts
- Identify and report potential production risks
- Monitor progress of jobs to ensure deadlines and customer budgets are met
- Ensure workspaces are kept clean and safe, following Health & Safety policies
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Must have experience within a manufacturing environment
- Good working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
