First point of contact for patients and visitors attending the Mental Health UnitYou will cover reception and co-ordinate out-patient clinics and follow up appointments Filing of correspondence as per Mental Health Directorate procedures, the retrieving and returning of casenotes to the main filing library, prepping of casenotes for outpatient clinic and in conjunction with colleagues maintain the records library in accordance with local policy and retention and destruction schedules. This doesnt mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isnt fluency, just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
