Summary
Our caseload covers a variety of rehabilitation needs, from post-op rehab to long-term condition management, falls prevention classes and same-day equipment assessments to keep patients safe at home. The successful applicant will be responsible for their own caseload which is supervised by our qualified Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Applicants will have a level 5 diploma and require sound moving and handling skills, good problem solving, prioritisation and excellent communication. You will need a driving license and access to a vehicle to be able to complete your community visits. We are committed to the continuing professional development of all our team members and offer a supportive environment with regular supervision, CPD groups, training and peer support. We also have access to a Champions Network that links you with therapists who are keen to share the knowledge of their special interest. The successful candidate will complete a mixture of shifts across early (8-4), late (10-6 or 12-8pm) and weekends as part of the team rota supporting the safety of patients in their own homes. Excellent IT skills are required to coordinate the smooth running of the service and utilise the benefits of our online patient record system, MyCare. Tiverton and Cullompton have excellent transport links and we are a short journey off the M5, giving quick access to Dartmoor, Exeter and Bristol.
