Summary
Your new company
A respected Birmingham primary school is looking for a skilled Year 6 teacher to provide release time for their KS2 Assistant Headteacher. The school has a diverse cohort and is committed to high standards of teaching and inclusive practice. This is a 1 day a week, long-term position starting in September with planning provided.
Your new role
You will teach a dynamic Year 6 class one day per week. Planning will be provided, but marking is expected. The role requires someone confident in managing behaviour and supporting pupils with SEND.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience teaching in upper KS2 (Year 6 preferred)
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Experience supporting SEND pupils
- Reliability and punctuality
