Summary

This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in your local office at least 2/3 days a week.

As the UK’s largest fibre-only network, and its only proven wholesale challenger, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.

Designed from scratch for the internet, our network is greener, more reliable and ready for the future. The products we provide over it not only lead the market on speed, value and service, they help businesses to innovate, provide entire communities with a better foundation for their digital lives and support economic growth, locally and nationally.

What does that mean for you? The opportunity to make internet connections (and daily life) a whole lot better, for a lot of people!

Joining us as a Product Owner

As a Product Owner in our IT Delivery team, you’ll be the voice of the customer and the champion of product excellence. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and development squads to shape and deliver innovative solutions that align with business goals.

Whether you're optimising the Order Journey, enhancing Finance systems, supporting Platform Migration, or advancing our GIS/Mapping capabilities, you’ll play a pivotal role in turning ideas into reality.

You’ll receive a competitive salary, a performance-related bonus, and a range of benefits to support your financial, physical, and mental wellbeing.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

Own the product vision for one of our strategic domains—Order Journey, Finance, Platform Migration, or GIS/Mapping Systems—and translate it into actionable development goals
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and shape user-centric solutions that drive business outcomes
Lead Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement and planning increments, ensuring the team is aligned and empowered to deliver
Prioritise features and enhancements based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility
Champion continuous improvement by analysing product performance and identifying opportunities for optimisation
Bridge the gap between business and tech, acting as the voice of the customer within the development squad
What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll bring experience in delivering impactful digital solutions with exposure to one or more of the following: Order Journey, Finance, Platform Migration, or GIS/Mapping Systems. You’ll also have:

Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile software development environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Kanban boards
A customer-first mindset and a passion for solving real-world problems
