Sense is looking for a Solutions Delivery Manager to join our forward-thinking Data, Insight and Technology team during an exciting time of digital transformation. This is a full time position working on a hybrid basis between home and our offices in Selly Oak.

About the Role
As our new Solutions Delivery Manager, you will be at the heart of our transformation programme - planning, coordinating, and overseeing the successful delivery of technical changes across our organisation. Working with cross-functional teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders, you’ll ensure technology releases are smooth, timely, and add value to Sense’s mission.

This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for someone with a strong background in release management, supplier coordination, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll be helping to implement new systems and technologies, including a major investment in a Microsoft Dynamics-based CRM, while ensuring a seamless transition to business-as-usual operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the full release lifecycle across multiple cloud and on-premise environments.
Lead go-live planning and deployment activities, ensuring readiness and stakeholder alignment.
Develop robust processes and documentation (runbooks, checklists, release repositories).
Coordinate third-party suppliers, ensuring quality delivery and compliance with governance.
Manage environment control across DEV, Pre-prod, and Live environments.
Drive continuous improvements in the release process and contribute to a culture of learning.
Ensure all releases meet user accessibility needs and align with ITIL best practices.
About You
A strong, pragmatic delivery expert with experience across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills – able to work with stakeholders of all levels and technical backgrounds.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, SaaS products, and Microsoft ecosystems.
Experienced in supplier procurement and delivery management.
Proactive, analytical mindset – ready to tackle challenges and propose practical solutions.
Committed to inclusivity and improving user experience for everyone.
Desirable Experience
Familiarity with the charity or social care sector.
Working knowledge of SFIA 8 competencies:
RELM (Release and Deployment)
BPTS (Acceptance Testing)
SORC (Sourcing) – Level 4
