An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, independent small animal veterinary practice in a quaint market town in Wiltshire. Our client’s practice is a single-site facility, centrally located in a charming town on the edge of both Salisbury Plain and the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This scenic location offers breath-taking landscapes, rolling hills, and tranquil canals, while being conveniently close to Bath, Bristol, and the M4 corridor. Welcome to the West Country’s best-kept secret.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who can complement the practice's high standard of care and build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication, empathy, and support. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, making this an excellent opportunity for a vet who is keen to develop or share their clinical skills in a supportive and friendly independent practice environment.

The RCVS accredited practice has been a trusted name in the community since 1897 and now operates from a new, purpose-built, air-conditioned facility that provides an exceptional working environment. It features two sterile operating theatres, an imaging suite equipped with endoscopy, digital X-ray, and ultrasound (including a dedicated cardiac probe), a dental theatre with dental X-rays, a fully stocked laboratory, and separate cat, dog, and isolation wards. A large meeting space is also available, primarily used for in-house training events and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

You will be joining a fantastic team of experienced veterinary professionals, including certificate holders, who are always on hand and happy to discuss cases. The practice offers sociable hours, regular 5 pm finishes, and a half-day off each week to ensure a great work-life balance.

If you are passionate about veterinary care, thrive in a team environment, and are looking for a role in a beautiful location with a fantastic quality of life, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Apply now to be a part of this dynamic and supportive team.
