Summary
Do you love cooking healthy, delicious meals and want to make a difference in children’s lives? We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Full-Time Cook to join our friendly nursery team.
About the Role:
As our Nursery Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children aged [insert age range], catering to all dietary needs and allergies. You will:

Plan and prepare balanced menus in line with EYFS healthy eating guidance

Cook freshly prepared meals daily

Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety (in line with Environmental Health guidelines)

Manage stock ordering and storage efficiently

Work closely with the nursery team to support children’s mealtime routines
About You:
We are looking for someone who:

Has experience in catering, ideally within an early years or school environment

Enjoys working in a busy kitchen and is highly organised

Is passionate about healthy eating for children

Works well as part of a team
