We have an exciting opportunity for aBand 6 Sister/Charge Nurseto join and help ourHaematology & Oncology Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) Unit, based in the state-of-the-artCancer CentreatMKUH.

• A current band 6qualification or readiness to step into this level
• ASACT qualification(essential)

In this role, you'll work closely with the senior nursing leadership team to:
• provide visible, professional and compassionate leadership
• Maintain and enhance standards of clinical excellence
• Drive improvements in patient outcomes and experiences for individuals undergoing SACT
• Support the education, development and well-being of the nursing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a dynamic and compassionate team at the heart of cancer care. As a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse on the Macmillan Chemotherapy Day Unit, you will provide visible, professional, and supportive leadership, acting as the Unit representative in the absence of the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse.

You'll deliver expert, specialist care to patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT), with a focus on oncology and haematology. Your clinical excellence, leadership, and passion will help drive forward high standards of patient care, safety, and service development.
