The Package

Starting salary of £18,000 to £20,000 per year (depending on age and experience).
Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm)

What will I be doing as an apprentice?

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manufacturing Operative Apprentice (Level 3) to join Wessex Resins and Adhesives, a long-established manufacturer of specialist epoxy products used worldwide in industries such as marine, defence, transport and construction. You will be part of a skilled and supportive team, learning how to work safely and efficiently with precision manufacturing processes, handling materials, and supporting the smooth flow of production from order to dispatch.

This apprenticeship will give you hands-on experience and a solid foundation in process manufacturing, warehouse operations and technical problem-solving, preparing you for a future career in the industry.

Summary of duties:

Process manufacturing orders and produce accurate documentation in line with company procedures.
Receive and correctly store goods, ensuring accuracy and timely booking in.
Distribute and store inbound materials safely and efficiently.
Manufacture adhesive products to specification, ensuring on-time delivery targets are met.
Monitor and rotate stock of finished products, raw materials and packaging.
Follow Wessex Resins working practices and quality procedures.
Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
Always follow health and safety procedures, especially when handling chemicals.
Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Manufacturing Manager.
