Summary

Educato are working on behalf of an outstanding SEN school who are looking recruit an SEN specialist to work with groups of identifed pupils with Autism. The school require an enthusastic SEN Teaching Assistant to start with them in September and continue on a supply basis initially with a view to permanent appointment. The incoming SEN Teaching assistant will be expected to be ready to work in September 2025 on a full time basis

The Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be a key player in delivering high-quality support to children with Autism at a school based in Bolton. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to:
- Support individual and small groups of pupils in class and during targeted interventions
- Assist with planning and delivering personalised learning activities
- Help develop communication, social, and emotional skills
- Contribute to detailed observations, assessments, and progress tracking
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support

What We're Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent experience
- Graduates of Psychology and Sociology are encouraged to apply
- Team Teach is highly desirable
- A genuine passion for SEN and understanding of different learning needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility to adapt to each child's unique journey
- Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, or other additional needs is a bonus
