Production Operatives
Barnsley, £18.22ph
Temporary Contract for up to 5 months, 12-hour days and nights, rotating shifts.

We have an exciting opportunity for a team of Production Operatives within the Barnsley site of a global manufacturer. This varied opportunity for Production Operatives involves the following:
• Feed machines with materials, ensuring each line is running to capacity
• Problem solving and fault finding on the lines.
• Ensure customer's packing specifications are achieved
• Checking testers and coatings and removing contaminated materials
• Operate a palletiser or forklift truck
• Recording materials and test results
We would expect the successful Production Operatives to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of a busy manufacturing environment loading and unloading of goods and basic machinery operations. To be considered for the role of Production Operatives the candidates must have:
• A valid Counterbalance licence would be helpful but is not essential.
• Basic IT skills
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually
• Ability to work without close supervision
