We are currently recruiting a Class 1 Shunter Driver to support a busy agricultural seed company during their peak season in Elsham.. This is a temporary role for 13 weeks, with full-time hours.
Pay:
£17.93 P/h Inc Hol Pay
£16.00 per hour without
Role Details:
Duration: 13 weeks (seasonal cover)
Days: Monday to Saturday (5 or 6 days per week)
Hours:
Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Overtime paid after 50hours at time and half
Key Responsibilities:
Shunting trailers around the yard and site
Moving units between loading and storage areas
Hooking/unhooking trailers
Ensuring safety and care in all movements on-site
Working closely with warehouse and yard teams
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 licence – essential
Experience with shunting or yard work preferred
Good communication and teamwork skills
Able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Reliable and safety-conscious
