Summary

Responsibilities:

PJHQ lead for the delivery of all interpreter issues, including interpreters deployed on operations and in the UK, and translations
Lead the in-service management for the current PJHQ global interpreters contract including, but not limited to: Business Case scrutiny; Task Order Form support, monthly invoice reconciliation. CP&F transactions and performance management.
Manage Task Order Forms (TOFs) to provide linguistic services to global operations.
Line Manager for 3 x HEO Civil Service positions (TOF Management and Contract Support Officers (one deployed forward)).
Lead monthly/quarterly meetings with the Supplier.
Manage the contract risk register in collaboration with the Supplier, Commercial and Financial stakeholders.
Security sponsor for the vetting, clearance, authorisation and management of interpreters supporting PJHQ, Special Forces and other authorised external customers of the contract.
Oversee and extrapolate monthly reporting data and information and ensure that the obligations within the obligation matrix are met in accordance with contractual timelines; Collate performance data and act where issues arise.
Lead on the use of contract management tools, including; Task Order Tracker, Defence Share (folders, uploads, comments, access), Contract Management Plan
Act as the Designated Officer’s Representative (DoR) / end-user engagement, and ensure Real Life Support (RLS) and provision of administrative support to Contractors Deployed on Operations (CONDO) in accordance with DEF STAN 05-129
Co-ordinate Designated Officers Representatives (DOR), carry out introductions to GIC tasks and provide instruction and guidance on supervising linguists.
Lead the project to renew the Global Interpreter Contract, ensure continuation of service throughout any period of transition.
