Summary
The post holder should have experience, knowledge and demonstrable skills in the following areas:
Essential
Strong background in construction, site inspection or building control. Knowledge of building regulations, health and safety and contract compliance. Experience in quality control, snagging and ensuring work meets specification.
Desirable
Good IT skills including the use of MS Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A professional membership for example – ICWCI (institute of Clerk of Works and Construction Inspectorate) CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building)
Expertise
Construction experience is essential with an HNC/HND in Construction Management, Building surveying or Civil Engineering.
