Summary
Join us as an Administrative Officer and become a key member of the Information and Advice Team within our newly formed Shared Services branch, supporting both children’s and adult services.
You will play a supportive role in shaping and maintaining a vital digital resource that supports residents throughout their lives – Hampshire’s Family Information and Services Hub (FISH), including the Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) Local Offer and Care Leaver’s Local Offer. This resource is currently being integrated into the wider Connect to Support Hampshire platform, marking an exciting new chapter for the team.
What you’ll do:
• Support the day-to-day operation of the Family Information and Services Hub, including monitoring shared inboxes, responding to emails and liaising with organisations and providers.
• Access and update website content and create newsletters.
• Take minutes at the FISH/Local Offer Steering Group meetings, distribute them, and set up future meetings.
• Use Microsoft Office tools to manage records, data, and communications.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support service delivery.
What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience delivering a wide range of administrative functions.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using software packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• GCSE English A* - C or 9 - 4 or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
• A team player with strong relationship-building skills and a compassionate, empathetic approach.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and prioritisation skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
