We’re looking for a QA Supervisor to take ownership of our Quality Assurance function on site. You’ll be a key player in ensuring
that every product leaving our factory meets the highest standards of safety, legality, and quality.



Job Title: QA Supervisor

Location: The Compleat Food Group, South Bank Manufacturing, Unit 2A, Nelson Street, Middlesbrough, TS6 6BJ
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts between 05:00am - 22:00pm - There is flexibility required to sometimes start later and
finish later due to production requirements.

Pay: £31,248 per annum

Reporting To: Technical Manager

What You’ll Be Doing

* Leading and motivating a team of QA Technicians.
* Carrying out effective auditing of raw materials, finished products, processes, and procedures.
* Conducting compliance audits including glass and hygiene checks.
* Supporting the Technical Manager in developing standards and procedures that safeguard product quality.
* Monitoring and reviewing hygiene standards and cleaning processes across the site.
* Overseeing record-keeping and ensuring corrective actions are completed where non-conformance is found.
* Driving training and development activities, including CCP training for Production Managers.
* Collaborating with Production, Planning, and Despatch to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment across departments.
* Taking on additional duties that support the success of the technical function.

* A confident communicator who can influence and engage colleagues at all levels.
* Previous experience in quality assurance within food manufacturing (supervisory experience desirable).
* A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and drive improvements.
