Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and Pharmacist/Pharmacist Manager to lead our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Pharmacy Operations & Compliance:

Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.

Ensure full compliance with GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council) regulations, NHS contractual obligations, and company policies.

Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled drugs, and other regulatory documents.

Conduct audits and risk assessments to uphold pharmacy standards.

Patient Care & Clinical Services:

Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to customers and healthcare professionals.

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.

Offer and expand clinical services such as NMS (New Medicine Service), flu & covid vaccinations, and pharmacy first.

Ensure patients receive appropriate counselling and support for their medications.

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead, motivate, and support the pharmacy team, including pharmacy technicians and dispensers.

Conduct staff training and development to enhance team performance.

Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and smooth operations.

Business Development & Customer Service:

Drive sales and profitability by optimizing pharmacy services and customer engagement.

Develop and maintain relationships with local GP surgeries, care homes, and healthcare providers.

Identify opportunities to introduce new services and improve patient outcomes.

Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.

Key Requirements

GPhC registration as a practicing pharmacist in the UK.

Strong understanding of NHS pharmacy contracts, services, and regulations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and make clinical decisions.
