Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and compassionate nurse to join the Uro-Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist Team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as an Associate Uro-Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse looking to develop specialist expertise in both malignant and benign urological conditions within a supportive and progressive team. You will work closely with our experienced Clinical Nurse Specialists, Lead Uro-Oncology Nurse Practitioner, and Consultant Urologists to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive nurse who is passionate about urological care and keen to develop within a specialist role. Strong communication skills, the ability to work well within a team, and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential. Ideally, applicants will have recent experience in the care of patients with urological conditions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Working autonomously within nurse-led services with support from the multidisciplinary team (MDT)
• Providing expert assessment, evaluation, and coordination of care for urology patients
• Supporting patients and their families throughout the care pathway
• Communicating effectively across the MDT to ensure seamless service delivery
